Description
Originating from vineyards that benefit from the deep and rich soils that make-up the Lodi Appellation, our Symphony and Chardonnay grapes thrive in their western edge home. Typified by warm sunny days and cool nights with gentle breezes coming from the San Francisco Bay and the Delta waterways, the grapes are allowed to mature and possess a proper balance between fruit character and structure. Harvested at optimal ripeness, the grapes are crushed and pressed off into a stainless steel tank before the juice is clarified, inoculated with yeast and fermented in a tank at cooler temperatures that serves to lock in the fresh fruit flavors in the wine.
The final product is cleaned up, blended, filtered, and bottled.
The resulting White Blend is brilliant, rich in aromas characterized by fresh white peach, apricot, coconut, and tropical floral notes, and features a straw-colored hue. With a crisp flavor that carries over from the aromas, and with added elements of pear and pineapple, the 9 Iron White Blend is an excellent picnic wine that easily pairs with a blackberry-raspberry salad, shrimp cilantro ceviche, or seared sesame ahi tuna.
